Actuellement en accord avec WBTV tv, elle est co-créateur (avec Williamson), producteur exécutif et showrunner de The Vampire Diaries pour la CW. VAMPIRE DIARIES en est à sa 3e saison et est la série à succés du réseau. Avant cela, Julie était un écrivain et co-producteur exécutif sur les 3 saisons de Kyle XY pour ABC Family. JULIE PLEC, a protege of Greg Berlanti, Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven, Julie skillfully juggles work in film and television as both a producer and a writer.  Currently in an overall tv deal at WBTV, she is the Co-Creator (with Williamson), Executive Producer and Showrunner of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES for The CW.  VAMPIRE is in its 3rd season and is the network's highest rated program.  Prior to that, Julie was a Writer and Co-Executive Producer on the 3 seasons of KYLE XY for ABC Family (which she set up while running the Television department at BENDERSPINK). Her other produced TV credits include DAWSONS CREEK and WASTELAND.  Past feature producing credits include SCREAM 2 and 3, Greg Berlanti's BROKEN HEARTS CLUB, Wes Craven's CURSED and THE BREED.
